Pocahontas and the Powhatan dilemma podcast

http://www.podcastdirectory.com/podshows/373194

I chose this podcast due to valuable information Mrs. Townsend provides throughout it. She provides information not only on Pocahontas but Pocahontas' father and some ways they used to survive. And she tells about how Pocahontas' mother was said to be a "throw away" wife and she also tells about the story of John Smith. I used Google's search engine to find this great podcast.

The search for a Pocahontas blog

http://blogs.bgsu.edu/lboyd/2010/06/29/pocahontas-race-and-gender-in-englands-colonization-of-virginia/

I chose Lindsey's Pocahontas blog because it is a well thought out depiction of what I myself am trying to convey about Pocahontas. She displays in an easy to read format about how the stories of Pocahontas and John Smith may have been a bit of a tall tale. I found Lindsey's blog by browsing Google. I had to search around a bit on the site since there is apparently a location of Pocahontas.

History Blog

This blog's purpose is to give information about the life and history of Rebecca Rolfe. Rebecca Rolfe's previous name is Pocahontas. Many know her story from the Disney movie as well as most early history classes they may have taken. In this blog we will go into some of the history of Mrs. Rolfe's life, and perhaps dispell the rumors of romance between her and John Smith.
